Reducing Transport By Localization

Our Strategies Must Be

  • To reduce transport and stop importing petroleum.
  • To stop mining of coal and close down thermal power plants.
  • To close down nuclear power plants and avoid inherent risk of atomic disaster. This can be achieved in 10 years only. The biggest evil for environment is TRANSPORT
  • Diesel consumption in India is 65 million tonnes per annum out of which:
    1. Transport – 70%
    2. Industry – 10 %
    3. Agriculture – 12 %
    4. Power Generation – 8 %

  • Look at the Unnecessary Transport
    1. PADDY Production: 20 crore tones 2 crore trucks needed to transport entire paddy to rice mills. Assume only 100 km average distance (coming and going). Then every truck will consume 25 litres. So total consumption: 50 crore litre = 5,00,000 ton. If we process paddy into farms by small rice hullers, entire diesel consumption will be saved.
  1. SUGARCANE Production: 35 crore tones 3.5 crore trucks needed to transport entire sugarcane to sugar factories producing white poison. Assume only 100 km average distance. Then every truck will consume 25 litres. So total consumption: 85 crore litre = 8,50,000 tonnes. If we process sugarcane into farms by small jaggery plants, entire diesel consumption will be saved.
  2. COTTON Production: 3 crore bales 5 lakhs trucks needed to transport all bales of cotton to textile mills. Assume 2000 km average distance. Then every truck will consume 500 litres. So total consumption: 25 crore litre = 2,50,000 tonne. If we process cotton in homes and villages, entire diesel consumption will be saved.
  3. CEMENT Production: 30 crore tonnes 3 crore trucks needed to transport entire cement to cities and consumption points. Assume only 1000 km average distance. Then every truck will consume 250 litres. So total consumption: 750 crore litre = 75,00,000 tonnes. If we establish tiny cement plants at every point of limestone reserve, 75% of diesel consumption will be saved.
  4. COAL Production: 56 crore tonnes 5.6 crore trucks needed to transport entire coal to thermal power plants. Assume only 1000 km average distance. Then every truck will consume 250 litres. So total consumption: 1400 crore litre = 140,00,000 tonnes. But coal is mostly transported by train and we can safely reduce diesel consumption to 25% i.e. 35,00,000 tonnes. We want to close down all thermal power plants by establishing tiny solar power plants, tiny biomass power plants, small and micro hydro power plants and tiny wind turbines. So entire diesel consumption will be saved.
  5. PETROLEUM Consumption: 14 crore tonnes 1.4 crore tankers needed to transport entire petroleum from refinery to petrol pumps. Assume only 500 km average distance. Then every tanker will consume 125 litres. So total consumption: 175 crore litre = 17,50,000 tonnes. But Swadeshi economy will reduce transport to 20% only. So petroleum consumption will be reduced to 4 crore tonnes which is our local production. So no import of petroleum. TOTAL OF ONLY 6 ITEMS: 1) Paddy – 5,00,000 tons 2) Sugarcane– 8,50,000 tons 3) Cotton – 2,50,000 tons
  6. Cement – 75,00,000 tons
  7. Coal – 35,00,000 tons
  8. Petroleum – 17,50,000 tons
  9. Total = 13.3 million tonnes

Most of the transport is because of centralization. In decentralized Swadeshi economy, consumption of petroleum will be reduced to 30 % only which we produce in India at present. So no import necessary. GIANT POWER HOUSES

Self Employment By Localization

To make India happy, millions and millions of self employment jobs should be created. It means that we should develop cottage industries, home scale industries and family size enterprises in millions of numbers for producing primary needs of the people and for comfortable living of the people. Here under is the partial list of such home industries in family enterprises and how many people can be absorbed into it.

  1. Spinning of cotton yarn by Amber charkha equipped with solar panel. Each such charkha can spin 1 kg of yarn. Each home can spin 300kg of yarn annually. Total cotton production in India is 600 crore kg. So 2 crore amber charkhas are required. 2 crores of women will get direct self employment in their homes without going outside.
  2. Weaving of cotton yarn into cloth by small power loom equipped with solar panel. One such power loom can weave 10 sq mt of cloth consuming 2 kg of yarn. For 250 working days cloth production will be 250 x 10 =2500 sq mt consuming 500 kg of yarn. For 600 crores of kg of yarn, 120 lakh looms will be required. So 120 lakh people will get self employment in their homes.
  3. 5 lakhs more people will be engaged in trading of yarn, trading of cloth etc.
  4. 10 lakhs more people will be engaged in making the machines i.e . amber charkha, looms, solar panel ,DC motors and related equipments.
  5. India produces 35 crore tons of sugarcane. To make jiggery out of it, one lakh jiggery plants are required to be installed in farms which will produce 5 crores tons of jiggery in the crushing season. Each jiggery plant will employ 20 workers. So totally 20 lakhs worker will be employed in direct employment in jiggery plants. 5 lakhs more people will be required for trading and exporting of jiggery. So totally 25 lakhs in jiggery making.
  6. India produced 3 crore tonnes of oil seeds. To extract oil from all the oil seeds, 3 lakh tiny oil mills are required. Each oil mill will employ 5 persons. So total employment will be 15 lakhs. Moreover 2 lakhs oil Ghanis are required in villages and cities. It will give self employment to 4 lakh people. One lakh more people will be engaged in trading of oil and oil seeds. So totally 20 lakhs people will be absorbed in edible oil industry.
  7. India produces 20 crores of paddy. To process all the paddy in the rice, 3 lakh rice hullers are required to be installed into paddy farm itself. All these rice hullers will be driven by steam engines and rice husk will be the fuel in the boilers. Each rice huller will employ 5 persons. So 15 lakhs of people will get direct employment. 2 lakh persons will be engaged in trading and exporting of rice. So totally 17 lakhs people will be engaged in rice milling only.
  8. Once food and cloth industries are decentralized into villages, prosperity will come up in villages and there will be huge demand of houses in villages. So there will be huge demand of cement, lime, bricks, flooring tiles and other related materials for homes. So 6 lakhs tiny cement plants of 1 tonne capacity will come up in villages which will employ 30 lakhs people directly for manufacturing of cement. Similarly 70 lakhs more people will be required to produce bricks, lime, tiles and other related materials. So at least one crore people will be engaged in house construction activity.
  9. Power generation will be fully decentralized. 3 Crores of solar thermal power plants will come up in farms and villages. It will employ 6 crore people. One crore tiny wind turbines will be installed in villages just for light. It will not give any direct employment. But in making wind turbines a few lakhs technicians will get self employment.
  10. Manufacturing small machines for producing primary needs and creating comfort to people will accelerate heavily. So roughly 50 lakhs of technicians will be engaged in various such activities. The above list is not exhaustive. It is partial list. Still roughly 11 crores of people can be engaged in decentralized industries making our villages self reliant and prosperous.

Tiny Thermal Power Plants

Steam energy is coming back very fast as blessing for distributed generation. There is bright scope of establishing 10 million tiny thermal power plants in India. Capacity of most of such tiny power plants will be from 5 HP to 20 HP and rarely up to 50HP. Tiny thermal power plant is the simplest plant consisting of steam engine, small boiler and alternator(if electricity is essential). This has vast opportunities for small generation capacities in villages. Such tiny power plants will have the following eye catching inherent advantages:-

(1) To construct giant power plant  takes 3 to 4 years, while tiny power plants can be installed in 3 to 4 days.

(2)Tiny thermal power plants will be very cheap. Almost at 20 % cost per KW basis of giant power plants. So with same investment, about 5 times capacity can be built.

(3) In most of the cases, direct mechanical power will be more convenient, more efficient and cheaper i.e. steam engine will directly drive water pump or oil expeller or rice huller or sugarcane crusher etc and generation of electricity will not be required. So investment cost of generators and motors will be saved.

(4) Tiny power plant will use steam engine which is simple technology. The technology of steam engine is not a new technology. We should remember that entire British empire was built and expanded in the world by using steam engines. They used steam engines in boats and steamers, in vehicles and railways, in war equipments, in factories, in textile mills and so on. Steam engine is so much simple that even in villages, it can be produced on lathe.

(5)Tiny power plants can be operated on biomass, agricultural waste, crop residue, forestry waste, wood etc. So it will be environment friendly. It will reduce pollution. In India, about 20000 MW power can be produced from 280 million tonnes of biomass through tiny power plants and steam engines. But giant thermal power plants are fuel specific using only particular type of coal. So Meghalaya coal can not be used in a plant which is designed for Zharkhand coal. So small steam engines will be blessing to small farmers.

(6) Once steam power is available in every village and every farm, all industries related to agriculture will be fully decentralized up to family scale and village scale level.i.e.cotton ginning, cotton spinning and cloth weaving will be decentralized into villages, oil milling, rice hulling, jaggery making will be fully decentralized into farms and villages. It will greatly contribute for rural development, income and employment generation in villages will increase prosperity in villages and homogeneous development of the country.

(7)The biggest advantage is that people can enjoy freedom from the tyranny of electricity companies.

(8)Tiny power plants will greatly contribute for water lifting problem. Entire rural India is facing heavy shortage of electric power in agriculture sector and as electricity is never available in time, farmers are losing their crops. This can be avoided and problem can be solved by Tiny power plants and steam engines.

(9) Rural electrification is unsolved problem since last 60 years. Steam power can solve this problem easily with minimum expense.   80 million poor homes have no electricity in villages of India. For tiny thermal power plant, no transmission lines, no distribution lines, no losses. Simply by running it for a few hours, all people can enjoy electricity by charging the batteries which will never betray. Thus entire India can be electrified only in 3 years by using tiny power plants and steam engines.

(10)Tiny power plants in villages will run most of the agro based industries in villages and hence it will greatly save transport expenses of agricultural produces from villages to cities.

(11) Small boilers of tiny power plants will be fabricated in villages. It will further reduce the cost of tiny power plant. And it will also create jobs and prosperity in villages

(12)Tiny power plants and steam engines will greatly reduce the requirement of transmission lines and distribution lines. This will be extra savings.

(13)Tiny power plants and steam engines will greatly encourage cogeneration with CHP application such as oil milling, sugarcane crushing, rice milling etc. This will save a lot of energy.
Thus we can bring real revolution in rural India by establishing 10 million steam engine based tiny thermal power plants.

HOW TO SELECT THE CAPACITY OF POWER PLANT?

First of all ascertain how many homes you plan to provide electricity.
Then decide how much facility you want to provide.
(1) Say 3 LED lamps for each family. Then 3 lamps x 3W each = 9W power, say 10W power to every home. So for 200 homes x 10W = 2000W = 2KW. Then 6hp-3kva power plant will be suitable. It will cost only US$ 4500/-. Say US$5000/- up to installation. Then capital investment per family US$25/-only.
(2) Say 3 LED lamps for each family. Then 3 lamps x 3W each = 9W power, say 10W power to every home. So for 500 homes x 10W = 5000W = 5KW. Then 12hp-7.5kva power plant will be suitable. It will cost only US$6500/-. Say US$ 7500/- up to installation. Then capital investment per family is US$ 15/- only.
So electrification for lighting is extremely cheap.
(3)Then Say 3 LED lamps and one fan for each family. Then 100W power for each family should be considered. So for 50 homes x 100W = 5000W = 5KW. Then 12hp-7.5kva power plant will be suitable. Capital cost per home will be US$ 7500/50homes = US$150/- per home.
(4) Suppose you have 150 homes, then 150homes x 100W =15KW. Then 40hp-25kva power plant will be suitable. it will cost Rs US$20000/-. Up to installation, it will cost US$25000/--. So capital investment per family is only US$166/-.
Cable and lamp cost not included. It must be considered separately. If homes are scattered, then cable length will be more. If homes are congested, cable will be shorter. For lights only, cable cost will not be much. LED lights are costly. Each family can purchase their LED lamps. Or mass purchase can be made by village.

Steam Power For Freedom and Happiness

You can not enjoy freedom and happiness if you do not have your own power. You must not be dependent on electricity or diesel for your farm or village. Steam Power is The Key To Create Happiness

If you are interested to develop your country, if you want to make your people happy, if you want to increase wealth and employment and prosperity in villages, if you want to remove exploitation of your people by multinational corporations etc, key factor is to develop steam power.

To develop steam power is extremely easy. Tiny thermal power plant is nothing but one steam engine and one boiler. You can burn wood or agricultural waste in to boiler and produce steam which will be used in to steam engine to revolve it. Revolving steam engine itself is the power.

You can connect generator with steam engine to get electricity.

You can connect flour mill with steam engine to grind the grain.

You can connect oil expeller with steam engine to get cooking oil.

You can connect sugarcane crusher with steam engine to get sugarcane juice.

Multinational corporations explain to the governments of Africa and other poor countries to develop huge infrastructure of giant thermal power plants and grid lines costing millions and billions of dollars. They argue that electricity is the key to the development. Under the excuse of electricity, they plunder the resources of all countries and electricity never reaches to rural areas. Real solution of getting electricity everywhere is to install small small steam engines everywhere and to produce electricity wherever required. But you will observe that electricity is not required to run basic machines such as maize mill, oil expeller, rice huller, sugarcane crusher, cotton ginning machine or to run any other machine.

If you go for giant thermal power plants and grid lines, it will be too expensive for any country and power will not reach to villages for many years. So it is not a real development. It will encourage urbanization, disparity i.e. handful of people will become millionaires and vast majority will be suffering from poverty and starvation. So it is not the correct way of development.

So to install steam engines in every village, in every farm is the real way of happiness and development. So shortcut of development is to develop steam power everywhere. It can be done at a fraction of cost of giant thermal power plants. I am giving below inherent advantages of tiny thermal power plants based on steam engines. Please study it very carefully. You must become independent and self reliant in power and energy very quickly. It is possible through steam engines only. Then and then you can become happy. No society can be said as free society if you are using energy from giant power plants run by multinational companies or government sponsored big companies.

Steam energy is coming back very fast as blessing for distributed generation. There is bright scope of establishing 10 million tiny thermal power plants in India. Capacity of most of such tiny power plants will be from 5 HP to 20 HP and rarely up to 50HP. Tiny thermal power plant is the simplest plant consisting of steam engine, small boiler and alternator(if electricity is essential). This has vast opportunities for small generation capacities in villages. Such tiny power plants will have the following eye catching inherent advantages:- 

  1. To construct giant power plant  takes 3 to 4 years, while tiny power plants can be installed in 3 to 4 days.
  2. Tiny thermal power plants will be very cheap. Almost at 20 % cost per KW basis of giant power plants. So with same investment, about 5 times capacity can be built.
  3. In most of the cases, direct mechanical power will be more convenient, more efficient and cheaper i.e. steam engine will directly drive water pump or oil expeller or rice huller or sugarcane crusher etc and generation of electricity will not be required. So investment cost of generators and motors will be saved.
  4. Tiny power plant will use steam engine which is simple technology. The technology of steam engine is not a new technology. We should remember that entire British empire was built and expanded in the world by using steam engines. They used steam engines in boats and steamers, in vehicles and railways, in war equipments, in factories, in textile mills and so on. Steam engine is so much simple that even in villages, it can be produced on lathe.
  5. Tiny power plants can be operated on biomass, agricultural waste, crop residue, forestry waste, wood etc. So it will be environment friendly. It will reduce pollution. In India, about 20000 MW power can be produced from 280 million tonnes of biomass through tiny power plants and steam engines. But giant thermal power plants are fuel specific using only particular type of coal. So Meghalaya coal can not be used in a plant which is designed for Zharkhand coal. So small steam engines will be blessing to small farmers.

Main source of energy in India is through coal based giant thermal power plants. It is highly polluting industry. If we want to switch over to green energy of solar thermal power plants to replace coal based power plants, 2 crores of tiny solar thermal power plants are required to be established in India. To achieve this purpose, the first necessity is to establish tiny solar thermal power plant in each and every engineering college and to teach the complete technology of making solar concentrators, steam engines, steam turbines at small scale level to all engineering students. Let Us Re Shape India Through Solar Energy

We should think to create happy India.

But first of all we should think what we mean by happy India. Very nice wide highways connecting big cities is not the sign of happy India. Big cities with tall buildings is not the sign of happy India. Fast air conditioned trains and planes is not the sign of happy India. Big factories producing mass products is not the sign of happy India. Big universities, colleges, hospitals, administrative buildings etc. is not the sign of happy India.

Happiness lies in freedom. Freedom of earning the livelihood without anybody's interference, without any tension, without any exploitation, without any helplessness is the real happiness. Freedom lies in working for self, not for others. Free independent farmer with his own land producing grains, vegetables, pulses, fruits etc. must be the happiest person on the earth, if he is not exploited. India lives in villages. Majority are farmers. Let us make them happy by using solar energy. Let us think how we can make.

One horse power is equivalent to 10 men power. If we create 5 horse power of solar energy, it is equivalent to 50 men power. If we create 5 hp solar power plant for farmer, he will use 50 men power free of cost. Here lies the secret of creating the wealth in villages. In fact industrial revolution used this secret to exploit the entire world for the benefit of handful of people. 1 MW power is equivalent to 14000 men power. 100 MW thermal power plant is equivalent to 1400000 men powers. So wherever men power is used, it is replaced by electricity, throwing the people jobless and enjoying the fruits of electricity by only one person. The work which is done by 100 people in 8 hours can be easily done by 10 hp (7 KW) electric motor running 8 hours. This means consuming only 7 KW x 8 hours equals to 56 KWH which cost only 56 x Rs 5 = Rs 280 ( about US$ 6 only ). But if this 100 people were to work instead of electricity, we have to pay them bare minimum for their livelihood Rs 100 per day x 100 men or workers = Rs 10000 ( at least US$ 220 ). So look at the vast difference. If factory owner employs 100 workers, he has to pay US$ 220, but if he drives out all 100 workers and uses electricity he has to pay only US$ 6. So replacing men power by a machine power will earn him 220/6 is equal to 37 times higher profit. In this way 4 billion people on this earth have been thrown on the street to starve and to die and 1 billion people is just hand to mouth to meet both the ends together hardly and fruits of all this 5 billion people are enjoyed by 1 billion people and especially a handful of industrialist and rich people. So all these centralized thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, hydro projects, grid electricity etc is used for the benefit of handful of multi billionaire people.

We can break this entire structure by solar energy which is gift of God maximum in India. So let us create 5 crores of tiny solar power plants of 5 to 10 hp. It will pump water from the well, it will run the thrashers to separate the grain, it will make rice from paddy, it will gin cotton to separate cotton seed, it will spin cotton to make yarn, it will weave yarn to make cloth, it will crush sugarcane to make sugarcane juice and jaggery from it, it will grind wheat to get wheat flour, it will run oil expeller to get cooking oil. All activities will be done in the farms not even in villages. Farmers will live in the farms and will get prosperity by creating value added products. All unemployed people in villages will get immediate employment. On the contrary there will be dearth of men power required to operate small industries in the farms. So unemployed people living in slums in the cities will come to villages and farms, to work under nature and to become happy in villages. Please think over the significance of 5 crore of tiny solar power plants of 5 HP to 10 HP say it is of 5 KW x 5 crore equal to 25 crore KW equal to 250000 MW. This is far more than all centralized, exploitative, polluting, giant power plants produce to exploit poor rural India. In this scheme fuel cost is ZERO, transport is minimum, where transport is minimum, happiness will be maximum and where transport is maximum, happiness will be minimum.

To make this picture realistic, essential equipment is solar concentrator. It collects sunshine and creates heat energy which is converted into mechanical energy by steam engine or by stirling engine.

So first let us concentrate on solar concentrator. It is very easy to make large solar concentrator. It is so easy to construct a solar concentrator that you cannot believe it. Single solar concentrator of 90 to 100 sq mt is easy to make. I can teach free of cost how to make it, no big knowledge is required, no engineer is required, primary education is quite enough to make it. Inner skill of even illiterate person is enough to understand its technology. So village carpenter or village blacksmith can easily manufacture large solar concentrator. One large solar concentrator will produce 5 hp power. Please remember making a large solar concentrator is equivalent to producing 50 robots for us. It is not essential to use costly steel for making solar concentrator, wood also will do. Bamboo also can work, very simple workshop tools will be enough to make solar concentrator.

Solar concentrator consists of rigid square frame of say 12 mt x 12 mt supported vertically by single vertical pole in the center and revolving around the vertical axis. Complete rigid frame should remain 8 to 10 degree inclined with horizontal, then you should insert mirrors swinging shafts all parallel with the ground, just like we fit parallel bars in the window. On this shafts mirrors of 90 cm x 20 cm should be fitted. Roughly 500 or more mirrors should be accommodated on 1 frame and the mirror shafts should tilt on its own axis to focus the mirrors against the sun from time to time, which can be done by connecting all the mirror shafts by levers, so that one hand wheel can tilt all mirrors at a time. Anybody can come to my factory, look the the construction of solar concentrator and copy it, modify it, improve it, create solar energy and revolutionize rural India to create healthy and happy India.

We are standing at a threshold of revolution. Please understand the situation, please grab the opportunity. If we can make 5 crores of solar concentrators, there will be end of industrial revolution, sucking the blood of common masses and making the dance of creating a handful of multi billionaire people in the name of development. All thermal power plants and nuclear power plants will be closed down, remaining as skeleton of madness, foolishness, and the greed of money powered people.

In a few years only you will be able to earn lakhs and crores of rupees according to your capacity to earn. At present solar concentrator cost US$ 400 per sq mt ( Rs 18000 per sq mt ). If grass root rural manufacturers are involved in this business, cost price can be reduced from US$ 400 to US$ 80 only i.e. you can reduce the price from 100% to 20%, 5 times lower, making the solar energy strongly viable. There will be huge market for exports of solar concentrators, sky is the end, huge opportunities are lying before you. In a solar power plant, solar concentrator constitutes 85% cost and remaining 15% will be for steam engine or stirling engine.

So let us change entire India from poverty to prosperity, from crowded cities to clean environment friendly farms and villages, from huge disparity to equality, from tensionful life to peaceful life, from foolishness to wisdom, from war to peace, from pollution to clean environment. Giant Electricity Power Houses such as giant thermal power plants or giant nuclear power plants are established  either by governments by collecting tax from the people or by giant private companies by collecting huge money by way of shares of the company. In either cases, money comes from the people.

Giant Electricity Power Houses give rise to giant factories, centralize production and create Giant Economic Power Houses.They promote huge scale coal mining, displace people, create huge scale pollution, misuse all available resources on the planet and conspire against the people by promoting Giant Economic Power Houses.

Then please be serious. I have practically proved in 85 countries that my tiny cooking oil mills are far more viable than big oil mills. More than 1600 tiny oil mills are profitably working in 85 countries and providing pure natural fresh cooking oil to people. What is true for cooking oil is true for other basic need items.
So please discard from your mind that bigger is more viable. Small is always beautiful, more viable and blessing to humanity. So please accept small, encourage small and discard big big bogus things and be happy.

Solar Power Plants MW or KW

Solar power has come as a blessing to the humanity, not only to provide energy to all but to save humanity from the evils of industrial revolution. The biggest evil of industrial revolution in last two centuries is the concentration and centralization of wealth and resources and also huge political powers in the handful of people. So huge factories, mass production, big industrial and financial corporations, big cities, huge network of transport, huge scale mining, giant thermal power houses, giant cement factories, huge dams, huge skyscrapers etc are emerged in the world which exploit billions of people, throwing them into starvation and poverty. The net result of the industrial revolution has not increased happiness on the planet but it has increased war, disparity, diseases, hospitals, mafia ism, crimes and offenses, terrorism, unrest, suicides, poverty, greed in the human minds, consumerism etc and so humanity has lost the way of peace and happiness.

Solar energy has come as a blessing to solve all these problems and to rectify the major defects in the structure of the society created by industrial revolution. Solar energy is inherently decentralized way of energy production. Sunshine is equally distributed everywhere. So solar energy should be generated at the point of consumption and so it must be produced in few KW only. So wherever energy is required, it should be produced there and consumed there. So all the industries related to agriculture can be naturally decentralized at farm scale level. Energy will be required to pump the water in the farm. So 5 to 10 KW power will be enough for pumping. It can be produced in the farm itself by solar panels or by solar concentrators. Energy may be required for agro processing such as flour milling, rice hulling, sugarcane crushing, grain thrashing, cotton ginning, cotton spinning, cloth weaving, milk boiling, oil milling etc. Each of such processes may require 5 to 10 KW power at the most. It can be produced by solar panels or by solar concentrators. No transmission lines and grid lines necessary. Everywhere there will be equal blessing of god. Just use sunshine and get solar power. So any effort to produce solar energy at MW size and to feed into the grid is tantamount to transporting the sunshine from one place to another place. Naturally this will be absolute foolishness. I feel that many people working for solar energy have not understood the true blessing of the god inherent in solar energy. They try to protect the present day exploitative centralized economic structure system by erecting MW size solar power plants. If MW size solar power plants are produced everywhere in the world, no any favorable change will come to the world in favor of peace and happiness. All the evils of industrial civilization will remain intact by way of MW size solar power plants. This is the worst misuse of solar energy.

Solar energy should be used for total economic revolution to abolish all vested interests and so called centralized giant economic power houses and centralized giant electric power houses. If solar energy is used to protect the evils of centralization, then solar energy will not remain as a blessing. It will be proved as curse to the humanity to enslave the billions of people. So real blessing is to utilize solar energy for decentralized home scale and village scale industries. e.g. cotton can be spun simply by 70 watt power with 8 spindle spinning machine running in the home and converting 1 kg lint cotton into yarn everyday. This will give supplementary income to house mother who runs the spinning machine by solar energy and will increase her income while looking after the home simultaneously. Four crores of families in rural ares can be benefited by this activity. So naturally all the textile mills will die there natural death. All the oil seeds will be crushed in the small expellers by 5 to 10 HP solar power, produced in the farm itself. So present big oil mills and refineries will have to be closed down and all the evils of adulteration, speculation, hoarding etc will vanish and natural cooking oil will be available to every home at quite reasonable price. Small sugarcane farmers will install jaggery plants in their own farms and produce natural organic jaggery to make available to entire population of the world. So all sugar factories of white poison will die their natural death. All rice producing farmers will install small rice hullers in their farms which will be running from solar energy or rice husk energy. So big rice mills will be out of picture.

In this way three crores of solar concentrators from 20 SQ MT to 100 SQ MT can be installed in small farms and villages, producing 2 lakh MW power in a decentralized way. Similarly further 2 lakh MW solar power can be produced from photo voltaic solar panels of 50 watt to 10 KW. Lakhs of small factories can run on 5 to 10 KW solar panels. Entire industrial activity will be decentralized on a need based system abolishing present day greed based system. In this way whole economic structure will be established on solar power. So MW scale solar power plants are not required at all. So to create MW scale solar power plant is to protect the present day exploitative economic structure and their vested interests.

So my appeal to solar engineers is that they should concentrate their efforts not on MW size solar power plants, but they should limit their activity to KW size solar power plants and to make it popular. It is very clear that creating MW size solar power plants and thereby protecting exploitative structure is clearly technology for death and technology for war. Conversely creating KW size solar power plants and thus to promote decentralized production systems is clearly technology for peace and happiness.
