My Area of Interests

I am Mechanical Engineer 75 years working for rural technology since last 35 years. As I am strongly committed to Gandhiji, I have full faith in Gandhiji's thinking on industrialization and western civilization and hence I am enemy of all big industries as Gandhiji was.
My areas of interests are :-
(1) Decentralization of industries and creating alternative of all big industries.( My tiny oil mills are successfully running in 86 countries and my tiny steam power plants developed by me also will run in more than 100 countries.)
(2) Development and dissemination of power independent jaggery plants, solar powered water lifting, solar or biomass power plants for farmers, small wind turbines, tiny solar power plants, solar cookers , decentralization of textile mills in rural areas, decentralization of rice mills, decentralization of power houses in farms and villages etc.
(3) dissemination of Gandhiji's views, his books and his literature, his thinking.
(4) To join and to support any movement for decentralization of political powers to grass root level.
(5) To join and to support any movement for empowerment of women, protecting Indian culture and to fight against injustice to women.
(6) To join and to support any movement for poverty eradication, rural development, autonomous villages, self reliant villages etc.
(7) To join and to support any movement for removing English and replacing regional languages and Hindi in all schools and universities including medical and engineering faculties.( I have written a book in Gujarati DANGERS OF ENGLISH MEDIUM and locally running MATRUBHASHA MADHYAM ANDOLAN.)
(8) To join and to support any movement for removing present education system and replacing Asram and home school system independent from Government based on Gandhiji's ideas of true practical education through industries.
(9) To join and to support any movement to abolish present judiciary system and bring back ancient Panch Nyay system.
(10) To join and to support any movement for total prohibition throughout the country.
(11) To join and to support any movement for free gun right for self defense as is existing in USA and as it existed in India before 1912.
(12) To join and to support any movement for freely establishing community radios without any license and Government interference.
(13) To join and to support any movement for abolishing all India services like IAS, IPS,IFS etc
(14) To join and to support any movement for abolishing present Constitution of India and adopt new CONSTITUTION FOR REAL SWARAJ written by me to cherish the dream of Gandhiji to make half million villages as sovereign states. (This is available on http://freedomindia.com)
My business web site www.tinytechindia.com has many good articles under MY ARTICLES which have been highly appreciated all over the world. Almost 700 engineers, scientists and businessmen from about 80 countries have visited me so far. I have gone to 30 countries of Africa, Europe, USA and Asia, many of them by invitations with all cost. World Bank published an article A LITTLE COMPANY WITH BIG IDEAS about me.
I have written the following books in Gujarati. VIKAS NO PARDAFASH, GAMDA NU NAVSARJAN, KELAVNI MANTHAN, SADI MA J SANSKRUTI, SACHA SWARAJ NI RUPREKHA, ANGREJI MADHYAM NI BHAYANAKTA. All my books are to support Gandhiji's vision for India.

I Am Enemy Of What?

I am not enemy of rich people.
I know that many rich people are kind, wise and humble.
I know that many rich people have compassion for poor people.
Many of them donate their wealth for hospitals, for educational institutes and for benevolent purpose.
So how can I be enemy of such people?
They do not desire poverty in the society.
If poverty disappears all of a sudden without affecting their richness, they will surely welcome it.
But I know that richness does not come without exploitation of common masses directly or indirectly.
Exploitation occurs only through big centralized mass production in big factories and its trading on huge scale.
Poverty, unemployment, starvation and dangerous disparity are generated only through big centralized mass production in big factories and its trading on huge scale.
So I am enemy of all big giant industries and giant scale trade.

So I am enemy of big oil mills making the cooking oil costlier to consumers.
So I am enemy of big oil mills which generate huge profits for their owners.
But I have solution of this situation.
I have developed tiny oil mill which can be owned and operated by one family. It has no much exploitative capacity.
So it is blessing to society.
Establish one million such tiny oil mills and there will not be any big oil mill in the world.

Similarly I am enemy of giant thermal power plants, nuclear power plants etc.
They exploit the people dangerously.
They monopolize generation of electricity and impose slavery on common masses.
They pollute environment heavily and dangerously.
But I have solution for this situation.
I have developed biomass based tiny thermal power plants of appropriate size to village, society, group or farm or individual requirement.
Produce your own power and be happy. No pollution, no exploitation, no slavery.
So protect your freedom and make your own development.

Similarly I am enemy of giant solar power plants of MW size.
It has many disadvantages. Biggest disadvantage is that it creates millionaires and billionaires.
So better idea is tiny solar power plant which is very simple and automatic.
It works for 20 years without any manpower and no maintenance.
So solar panels in every farm and solar panels on every roof is perfect solution.

I am also enemy of giant wind turbines of MW size.
It never helps to poor masses. It is for rich people only.
So I have developed tiny wind turbines of 200 to 500W for homes.
So grid lines are not required.

Similarly I am also enemy of big sugar factories.
They exploit sugarcane farmers mercilessly.
They make farmers slaves indirectly.
They produce sugar which is nothing but poison.
Sugar promotes 58 types of dangerous diseases.
So sugar is evil in every way.
So you can discard sugar and start using jaggery which is blessing to humanity.
Jaggery can be cheaply produced in farm with a little investment.
This will make happy society.

Similarly I am also enemy of big spinning mills and big textile mills.
They exploit the people mercilessly by breaking their home industries.
They spread hunger and starvation and make villagers slaves indirectly.
They produce cloth which is too much expensive for common masses.
But I have solution of this situation.
Establish simplest and tiniest possible spinning mills coupled with ginning machines in the farms.
It is far more viable than big textile mill as no transport, no bale binding, no bale breaking, no middlemen.
Use solar panels to run such tiny machines.
Decentralize it further in 60 to 80 spindle spinning frames to homes.
It will provide self employment to millions of women and also income.
So produce your own cloth in your farms and homes using solar power.
This will make happy society.

Similarly I am also enemy of big rice mills.
They exploit paddy farmers mercilessly.
They sell polished stuffless white rice at exorbitant price.
They commit offense against  2 billion starving people by wasting precious outer brownish layer of rice kerlels in the name of polishing. This wastage becomes millions of tonnes.
So big modern rice mills is big evil to society.
But I have solution for this problem.
Establish tiny rice hullers in rice farms run by 5 to 10 hp steam engines or stirling engines.
Rice husk is ideal fuel to run steam engine or stirling engine.
So huge exploitation done by big rice mills will end and paddy farmers will prosper.
everybody will get unpolished nutritious brown rice good for health.
This will make people happy.

This way I am enemy of all big industries. It may be cement plant or fertilizer plant or chemical plant or any other production unit.
Everything at big scale is harmful to society. luckily I have solution of everything. Everything can be decentralized to human scale, family size enterprise. So no exploitation. No accumulation of wealth in a few hands. This will solve all problems of the world.
As I am enemy of big industries, similarly I am enemy of big financial institutions, big banks, big dams, big cities. All are really evils. Luckily I have solution to decentralize everything to human scale and make entire planet happy. I am asserting this with full confidence because I have imbibed all my ideas from Mahatma Gandhi. Without implementing his vision, world will ruin and die. By implementing his vision, entire planet will live with peace and happiness.

Huge Scope Of Small Wind Turbines In India

Wind power has emerged as the biggest renewable energy source in the world. So far wind turbines of total combined capacity of 25000 MW have been installed in the world, Germany being the highest in the world and India is standing 4th biggest wind power producer in the world. Government of India has estimated the potential of 45000 MW of wind power throughout the country. So far about 2500 MW capacity has been installed in India. All this power is obtained through big wind turbines from 250 KW to 1250 KW capacity. The modern European trend is to make bigger and bigger wind turbines and 2 MW wind turbine has become very common in Europe and soon they will produce 5 MW capacity wind turbines. As in other technology, in wind technology also, Europe is always after giant technology.

So as a follower of European technology, Government of India promotes big wind turbines and it does not recognize the potential of small wind turbines. In fact, there is a huge potentiality of small wind turbines in India. As per my own estimate, roughly 100000 MW power can be produced in India from only small wind turbines up to 10 KW. There are bright prospects to establish about 50 million small wind turbines from 500W to 10KW capacity. Such a huge possibility exists in India but unfortunately small wind turbines are totally neglected by Government of India.

In India, land holding is small. Farms are small. There are about 100 million small farmers in India. A lot of industrial manufacturing is also through tiny and small industries consuming less than 10 KW power. So there is a possibility of small wind turbine in every farm and every small factory whereever there is a wind. So millions of small wind turbines can be installed in small farms of India making farmers self reliant in electricity for their own use for water pumping and other agricultural processing small industries. If small wind turbines are promoted in India, every farmer can supply excess power to the grid and thus power shortage can be avoided. It is not impossible that such excess power will go to the cities and big thermal power stations will be no more required.

Government of India spends about 6 crores (60 million) rupees for installing 1 MW capacity of electricity generation. This is equivalent to Rs. 60000/- per KW or roughly 1100 Euro per KW. Big wind turbines are available at the cost of Euro 1000/- per KW of installed capacity. But in Europe, small wind turbines are installed at the cost of Euro 2000/- per KW. This cost can be substantially decreased in India. As per my estimate, small wind turbines can be cheaper than big wind turbines on the basis of per KW cost. If systematic efforts are made, it is possible to reduce the cost of small wind turbines straight way up to Euro 500/- per KW i.e. half of big wind turbines. As per my own estimate, it is not impossible to reduce it up to Euro 300/- (Rs. 16000/- to 18000/- per KW). This means that investment in small wind turbines on per KW basis will be only 1/3 of investment of big wind turbines. Thus, small wind turbines will be strongly viable throughout the world and India can become biggest supplier of small wind turbines in the world.

But unfortunately, there is total vacuum of wind turbine technology in India. There is no any awareness about the education of wind energy. Aerodynamics is a strange word in India. There is no any course in India for wind energy at any university, any engineering college, polytechnic or even at ITI level. If Government recognizes the importance of small wind turbines, there should be degree and diploma courses and also short term certificate courses of wind energy technology in every university to every ITI. Government should encourage to publish technology books related to wind energy in all the regional languages. Then technology can spread to grass root level and even in villages, many technicians will start understanding and manufacturing small wind turbines. Government has already passed Electricity Act 2003 in favour of renewable energy and distributed generation. But it is not implemented in practice so far. It is highly essential to give free permission to connect small wind turbines with grid power. If this much is done at government level, in one or two decades, India will really become number one in the world in wind energy production and that also only through small wind turbines producing roughly 100000 MW of electricity. But it is most unfortunate that our Government is lacking this vision.

If Government permits grid connection to small wind turbines, then simple induction motors can be used as generators and thus small wind turbine will become extremely cheaper and strongly viable compared to big wind turbines and electricity cost will be far more cheaper than that of thermal power stations. So it is evident that small wind turbines have so much big potential that they may replace big thermal power stations.

Even though Government does not encourage this activity of small wind turbines, above picture can be materialized through peoples initiative. Technology of small wind turbine is not so much difficult. Stand alone wind turbine is rather complicated than grid connected system. But electronics is coming to the help. In a few years, various types of electronic controllers will be devised to control all the parameters of stand alone small wind turbines. The generators for wind energy are basically of 3 different types. Radial flux permanent magnet generator is converted from induction motors which are cheaply available in India. Technology of axial flux permanent magnet generator is completely unknown to India at present. But it is very simple technology. Thanks to Mr. Hugh Piggot of UK and ITDG of UK who have published complete manual on internet to produce axial flux permanent magnet generator. But both these types of generators require neodymium magnets which are not manufactured in India. Hence these generators become costly because of imported costly magnets. But if tiny electro magnet generators are developed, it will be very cheap. Similarly, small auto alternator technology is going to play vital role in drastically cutting the cost of small wind turbine.

There exists highly developed industrial infrastructure in India to manufacture towers, blades, wind rotors and also electronic controllers. So once people recognize the scope of small wind turbines, many engineers and technicians will start producing small wind turbines. As India is poor country and particularly farmers are very poor, small simple technology will better suit. Cloth sails wind rotors and tube and wire type blades are more suitable to Indian condition to reduce the cost of wind turbines. The most scientific air foil sections of blades are made from wood in Europe which last up to 20 years. Scientific wooden blades can be made the cheapest in India. Similarly wooden towers also will be cheaper and suitable for small wind turbines. I feel that very cheap small wind turbines will be a reality in India in a few years. Only constraint is lack of knowledge and technology of small wind turbines. Hugh Piggott’s small book WINDPOWER WORKSHOP is one of the best practical book to understand wind turbine technology in short. But many such cheaper books should be written and published in Hindi & regional languages. Then only this technology can spread up to village technicians.

It is my basic conviction that after about 20 years, electricity will flow in grid lines in reverse direction i.e. from villages to city through distributed generation only by solar, by wind, by bio mass and such renewable devices. It is my basic conviction that small wind turbines up to 10 KW capacity will be extremely cheaper and hence strongly viable. It is my basic conviction that solar cells will be produced on screen printing technology by illiterate women in every home in 20 years time. It is my basic conviction that solar thermal electricity generation will be viable and will be produced in every village. So it is my basic conviction that electricity will be surplus in India in 20 years time and it will be cheapest in the world.

Electrification Of 100 Million Poor Homes Of India

As per official Government data of Ministry of Power, almost 8 crores of rural homes of India have no electricity connection. In Bihar and Zarkhand, 90 % rural homes are without electricity connection. In Assam, Bengal and Orissa, 80 % rural homes have no electricity connection. Similarly, we can safely assume that almost 2 crores of poor families living in urban areas and slums have no electricity connection. So totally 10 crores homes are without electricity connection. This becomes almost 45 % of India.

All these 10 crores homes can be electrified within 2 years easily as per the following simple scheme.

  1. No new transmission lines and new distribution lines will be necessary except the existing ones.
  2. No house wiring will be necessary in 10 crores of homes.
  3. CFL tube has come as a blessing for the poor people. It is envisaged to provide one CFL tube of 11 Watt with sealed maintenance free battery of 12 V x 4.5 Ah. One CFL tube  will give equivalent light to 4 ft. tube light consuming 55 Watts. CFL tube of 11 W complete with elegant plastic cabinet with reflector and small inverter inside the cabinet to make very high frequency current is available in the market at Rs 200/-. Two wheeler small battery costs only Rs 250/- to 300/-
  4. Sealed maintenance free battery of 12 V x 4.5 Ah  with only 1.5 kg. weight will be able to provide very bright light for 3 hours to CFL tube comfortably. Battery should be charged every day.
  5. Set of CFL tube and battery costs not more than Rs. 500/-.  So even if Government provides it free of cost to 10 crores homes, it will be the expense of Rs. 5000/- crores which is only 1% expense of annual budget of Government of India.
  6. For battery charging, good community battery chargers are available at Rs. 3000/- to 3500/-. It will charge 30 batteries at a time. So during the 12 hours, 2 batches of 30 batteries can be charged. So one battery charger will be able to serve 60 homes. So for every 60 homes, one battery charger should be installed. Individual tiny battery charger is also available at Rs 100/- to 125/-
  7. Community battery charger can be installed by  Gram Panchayat or by Co-operative Society or by any private woman in her home.
  8. Power consumption of 11 W CFL tube for 3 hours will be only 33 W. Let us assume 40 W. To charge again 40 W, electricity of 50 W will be used in the battery charger. 50 W is 5% of 1000 W i.e. 1 KWH which costs Rs. 5/- only. So 5% of Rs. 5/- is only  25 paise. So for 30 days it will be only Rs. 7.50. Gram Panchayat or any NGO can charge Rs. 30/- per month from every home for battery charging service. If private woman is the owner of battery charger, she can charge Rs. 1/- per day out of which expense will be only 25 paise. So from 60 homes, she will be able to earn Rs. 45/- per day at her home. Her annual income will be Rs. 16000/- against the investment of Rs. 3000/-to 3500/- for battery charger.
  9. So all the poor people will have good light in their home at the expense of Rs. 1/- per day at the most. No application to electricity board, no any money deposit, no meter rent, no formality, no harassment of electricity board,  no house wiring.  Only requirement is that electricity should be available for battery charging in the concerned village. In every village, where there is grid connection, at least a few people will have electricity in their homes.  Out of them, one or two home can install community battery charger and provide the service of charging 60 batteries per day.
  10. Where there is no grid connection for battery charging, but if wind is available, small wind turbine of 1.5 KW can be installed which will be sufficient for charging 60 batteries per day. Such wind turbine will cost Rs. 1.5 lakhs. But it will be far cheaper than extending transmission lines and distribution lines.  Or solar modules can be installed for battery charging. But in that case, centralized battery charging is not essential. In every home, battery charging can be arranged.
  11. If we implement this scheme completely and successfully within 3 years, the entire world will be astonished to see that not a single home of India is without electricity. This will be splendid success eventhough we are able to provide only one light to every home. One such light in every home will be just like paradise to poor people.

But to implement this scheme completely in 2 years, the following actions are essential.

  1. All taxes such as central excise, VAT, sales tax, octroi, income-tax  etc. must be abolished for CFL Tubes, inverters, plastic cabinets, batteries and battery chargers used in this scheme.
  2. Micro Finance institutions should provide finance of Rs. 3500/- for purchasing battery charger at every village or community or urban slums.
  3. 100% finance and 75% subsidy should be made available to the person who establishes small wind turbine of 1.5 KW for battery charging with the condition that he will not charge more than Rs. 1/- (or say 1.50) for battery charging for poor people.

I feel that this is most practicable and the cheapest scheme of providing at least one light in all the 10 crores poor homes of India.

Electric Vehicles

If we visit any country of the world, we can see electric vehicles in the streets. In fact markets of the world are flooding with electric vehicles. In Europe we can see many types of electric cars to small electric scooters for disabled people running on the footpath. But it is a strange thing that in a huge country like India, not many electric vehicles are seen.

Electric vehicles means battery operated vehicles.

here are some eye catching advantages of electric vehicles.

  1. Electric vehicles are very cheap vehicles. So common people can afford to purchase it.
  2. No petrol or diesel required. Only expenses of charging the batteries. It is a small expense. So running expense per km is very less. So it is a big attraction for middle class people.
  3. No driving license required for two wheelers like mopeds.
  4. No registration with RTO required for moped type electric vehicles.
  5. It is very easy to manufacture electric vehicles.
  6. No pollution at all in electric vehicles.

In spite of these many advantages, it is very strange that electric vehicles are not manufactured in cities of India. To manufacture any thing is easy at decentralized scale or small scale in a industrial cities like Rajkot, Ahmadabad, Coimbatore, Ludhiana, Delhi etc. It is extremely easy to manufacture electric two wheelers in villages by availing of decentralized manufacturing base in above cities. Not only that, it is more convenient to manufacture in villages. In cities factory rent will be more. In villages just in the compound of the home one can assemble electric two wheelers. In cities, workers go to the factories from far away distance. So more expense. In villages 2 or 3 friends can assemble jointly very easily. Electric vehicle manufactured in cities will require big advertisement with big expense to sell it. In villages it can be sold easily without any advertisement in the village or in a near by village. Most of the components can be brought from the cities. Thousands of such components and accessories manufactured in the villages of Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan are sold world wide in wholesale. So in our villages also, nothing is impossible to manufacture such items involving engineering skill. Diligence and enthusiasm of village people can bring immediate results. now complete tiny tractors are manufactured by farmers in villages. But electric vehicles are far easier than tractors. Electric vehicles do not have engine , clutch, gear box etc. In any vehicle major expense is engine, gear box etc. Rest of the structure is easy to make. Batteries are available readily in market. Wheels, tires etc are readily available. All accessories are readily available in the market. DC motors are manufactured by many people in Ahmadabad. If Ahmadabad is far away, then making DC motors in villages is also not difficult. Chassis of the two wheeler can be fabricated by any welder. It is so simple. There is a huge wholesale market of two wheeler components in Rajkot, Ahmadabad, Delhi , Coimbatore and many other cities. So every thing can be purchased from such market. Items like switch, light, steering, components of break system etc are available at very low cost in wholesale market. There is nothing more in electric vehicle. I feel it very strange that in spite of all such items readily available in market, not many people are manufacturing electric two wheelers any where. If any skillful technician tries his level best, then electric vehicles can be sold at very low cost and still they can earn lot of money.

There are two limitations of electric vehicles.

One limitation is that it can work for small distances only. Because battery will discharge and it requires recharging. Electric two wheelers generally run up to 40 Km. so if we have to go 20 Km and come back then it works nice. It is quite enough to go to neighboring village and come back. In cities also it works properly. Its speed is generally 40 Km per hour, not faster. But there is no difficulty in it. Village roads are not like high ways. So for villagers, electric vehicles are more suitable. In cities due to heavy traffic, vehicle speed is 20-30 Km only. So no problem for electric vehicles.

Second limitation for EVs, battery may have to be changed at every 3 years. Batteries are expensive. However, on the whole, electric vehicles are cheaper, very less running cost, lighter in weight and free from pollution. So they are blessing to humanity. For recharging the battery ,there is inbuilt battery charger in every vehicle. battery charger is very cheap. When you come back to home, you have to simply plug in battery charger wire. Thats all. Battery will be charged.
There is huge possibility of electric cars also. Indian automobile garage people are very clever and skillful. They should develop the business of converting petrol cars to electric cars. As per my own estimate, there is a bright possibility to convert 2 lakhs petrol cars in electric cars every year. In such conversion, car engine , clutch, gear box etc are removed and DC motor or AC motor with electronic controller is to be installed. Electronic car controllers are very costly now a days. But good team of electronic engineers can develop it at throw away price. Hardly its production cost may be Rs.2000/-. Main expense in electric car is for batteries. Mostly 8 batteries are required. Deep cycle batteries are required. 7.5 HP AC motor may work in a electric car. So all garage people can convert petrol cars to electric cars and can contribute to environment. Running cost of electric car may be 50 paise to 80 Paise per Km. So even a higher middle class will be attracted with electric cars. There is already big demand of electric cars in the market. But as electric cars are not available at cheaper rates, demand is not seen. There is no need to manufacture new electric cars. When petrol cars engines become weak, it should be converted into electric. Then it will be very cheap.

Electric cars can run at 60 Km per hour and range is 80 to 100 Km only. So electric car is ideally suitable for cities. To make our city pollution free, electric vehicles is the best the solution.

To convert petrol car to electric car, many good books are available in Europe and USA. Our good technicians also should write good book in our languages to convert petrol car to electric car. Our garage people are more skillful and resourceful than European and American auto technicians. So we can do tremendous work in this matter.

Sesmu Trains

There are DEMU and MEMU trains in India. These are smaller trains connecting small towns to bigger cities or bigger stations on main lines. But still there is no any train facility to lakhs of villages. When our villages will be out of the clutch of government and of government supported big multinational companies and when they will realize the importance of their voting power, they will establish themselves as Sovereign Village Republics (SVRs). Then such SVRs will have vision of strength of Swadesi in their life, and they will realize vast opportunities for getting prosperity and development in villages. First of all such Sovereign Village Republics will have all the powers of law making of parliament, implementing their own laws and also powers of justice of Supreme Court. Then they will be getting 75 to 80% share from the government budget on per capita basis. So all these Sovereign Village Republics will think of making their own railway line from village to the nearest town falling on main railway line. These Sovereign Village Republics will be highly developed in technology and they will be capable of building their own railway either by individual SVR or by a group of SVRs. This railway line will be narrow gauge line with only 2 to 3 coaches for passengers as well as for goods transport as per requirement and it will be powered by solar photo voltaic electricity during the day and and by steam in the morning and evening. It will not work during the night. So it will be fully environment friendly. I call it SESMU train i.e. Solar Electric Steam Multiple Unit just like DEMU or MEMU train. So evidently SESMU train will be more modern version of DEMU train and more environment friendly. It will have better facility inside the train also. So it will be really splendid train of SVR ownership. Top and sides of the coaches will be fully covered by solar panels. It will not be too fast train. It will be linking village to village and mostly to nearby town. It will be used for transporting vegetables, milk, grain, cloth etc to nearby town. Also this train will be used to transport factory workers from town to village because all SVRs will have small factories for producing edible oil, jaggery, sugar, rice, cloth, building materials and also for agriculture machinery, pumps, electric vehicles, SESMU trains and even balloons. So there will be always shortage of men power in villages and hence town people will be working in villages. SESMU Trains will be slow trains. But it will not be a problem. So with less Horse power it will run. It will not make any profit. It will provide transport service to the people including for marriages and social occasions and it will ply as per the desire of the people. So people and children will really enjoy their own train. Every Sovereign Village Republic or group of it will establish their own railway mostly free of cost for the village people.

One Million Balloons Can Fly In Indian Sky

Indian entrepreneurs and technicians are highly skillful to develop any type of machines. Some technicians have tremendous talent by which they can make the machine simply by the description of requirement and imagination.  Problem is that they all imitate Europe and America. They do not have independent vision of making our villages far stronger than Europe and America. We should visualize that our requirement may be quite different than Europe and America. So we should evolve our own technology suitable for our needs.

India lives in villages. If people can realize the value of democracy and strength of their votes, then sooner or later all Indian villages will become Sovereign Village Republics (SVRs) as Gandhiji cherished. Every SVR will be overflowing with  prosperity in their villages and there will be highly skilled, highly talented,  highly learned and highly wealthy and healthy  people living in every village. So our Sovereign Village Republics will be far smarter than the smart cities proposed by our Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi. They will possess vitality and vision to make the entire world happy. So they will develop technology most suitable for their Sovereign Village Republics.

It is quite possible that they may develop planes for 4 to 6 passengers and it is quite possible that such planes may be manufactured in thousands of villages in India. It is not so much complicated that it can not be made in villages. But as far as I perceive the future, it is more probable that our SVRs will develop balloons for transporting human beings from villages to villages, from villages to towns, from towns to towns and from villages to cities. Balloons are easier to manufacture. Technology is very simple to understand. Balloons will consume almost 25% fuel per km compared to planes. Moreover balloons can utilize wind power to economize fuel. No matter speed of the balloons will be less than planes. I am sure that  our SVRs  will have a vision to make the people happy and to create comfort for them rather than craze for the speed. So technology of the balloons is the most appropriate for the Indian situation. Europe and America are crazy for speed. As soon as they discovered speedy planes, they discarded balloons even though highly comfortable balloons with cabins and restaurants like steamers as huge as carrying 600 people were plying between London and New York. But it took 2 days and hence they discarded.

But our SVRs will be wise people to create happiness for the people. Pregnant woman can be immediately shifted to town at the time of delivery or any complication. Any person working in the farm may have a snake bite and may require immediate treatment. Balloon can be blessing there to reach doctor to the farm and treat the victim immediately. People may be working in the farms and suddenly flood may come in rivers due to heavy  upstream rain. Balloon service will be blessing there to save the life of the people.  So all our Sovereign Village Republics will desire to own their own balloon, one or more. Even for pleasure trips and for economic survey of crops and commodity prices, our SVRs will utilize the service of balloons which will be surely cheaper than surface taxi. So I can foresee the future that our half million Sovereign Village Republics will be owning one million balloons which will be always flying in the Indian sky and will be saving huge quantity of fuel otherwise being wasted by surface transport.

Please be sure that this is not wishful thinking. This is most practical thinking which can be transformed into reality. There are 200 websites on internet describing how to manufacture balloons.  Anybody can deeply study it and start manufacturing. Nothing is impossible. It is not too costly and beyond the reach of SVRs.

Here people will have a question where from our SVRs will get money? If they are really Sovereign Village Republics, they will have sovereign powers to demand 80% share per capita from the government budgets and government will have no courage to deny it if they are really SVRs and recognize their voting power.  Present Indian central government has annual per capita budget of Rs.14000/-. Our SVRs  if fully determined, they can get Rs. 11000/- per capita as their legitimate right. Almost similar is per capita budget of state governments. So every SVR can get per capita Rs.11000/- from central government and Rs. 11000/- from state government every year. This means that SVR of 3000 population will get Rs. 66 million [(Rs. 11000/- + Rs. 11000/- ) * 3000]  every year from budget share. This much money coming every year will be more than enough to make every village just like paradise. This system of allocating budget per capita directly to villages is prevailing every where in Europe. Then why not in India?

So sooner or later when people will be awakened, they will demand their share from the budget and government has to allocate it. Then and then real Swaraj will come and that Swaraj will create paradise for all.

Gandhian Revolution Through Engineering Colleges

I am afraid that very soon engineers will be surplus in our country and they will not get job and will remain unemployed. If majority of fresh graduates will not get any job, it will be huge failure of present education system. I am observing that main objective of engineering colleges have become to prepare slaves for multinational companies who are virtually robbers intending to suck the blood of this country, to take away wealth to Europe and America and increase poverty and thereby make India economically weak and politically slave. Our engineering colleges and management schools play the most important role to fulfil this cunning objective under the guise of so called development. If you have any doubt in this statement, you should read my book VIKAS NO PARDAFASH or original book CONFESSIONS OF AN ECONOMIC HIT MAN by John Perkins who has disclosed world conspiracy of exploiting entire world in the name of development. I feel that engineering colleges must change their objective basically not to prepare engineers for job but to prepare them to become small industrialist directly. It is quite possible to train engineering students how to make tiny solar power plants of 5 to 10 kw capacity with a small capital of 5 lakhs of rupees. This much loan is available to engineers from any bank. 3 crores of such tiny solar power plants can be installed in India. There is huge market for export also. Every fresh graduate, if properly trained, can earn Rs 50000/- per month while sitting in his own village, not in any town. Large solar concentrator is very simple low technology item which can be fabricated by village blacksmith once technology is known to them. If you train your students how to make tiny solar power plants, it will create abundant solar power at every farm and power will be surplus everywhere. it will bring revolution in India. I have narrated only one item. Similarly hundreds of items can be produced by engineers. Millions of tiny wind turbines can be produced very cheap in villages. Please go through my article APPEAL TO ENGINEERS and some other articles in my web site. Please go through CREATING HAPPY INDIA which will really make our India happy and strong country. My humble request is to establish GANDHI VICHAR VARTUL (Gandhi Study Circle) in every engineering collage and divert the students to Gandhiji. Every student should read Gandhiji's thinking on Gram Swaraj, rural industries, rural development and western civilization. Our women have very high unique culture on the basis of which we are sustaining. We should not slaughter this culture in the name of development. Our women should be encouraged to preserve our precious traditions of saadi wearing in colleges, to preserve perfect womanhood and rule over men as mothers as per our ancient culture. Woman should not try to become artificial man which creates dangerous situation of fighting between man and artificial man (women distorted to artificial men) as is happening in the west. If you desire to go ahead in this direction and if you want to make suitable changes in your curriculum so as to make engineers as industrialists and not job seeking slaves, my services are absolutely free of cost. I do believe that engineering colleges can make India as the strongest country of the world only in 10 years time.

Sovereign Village Republics

Gandhiji desired that every village must be a sovereign republic and India should be the federation of half million Sovereign Village Republics. Present democracy is not Swaraj and not going toward the real Swaraj. On the contrary present democracy is grossly misused by vested interests of multinational corporations, politicians and bureaucracy to exploit entire India, to make the people completely slaves of bureaucracy, to increase poverty and unemployment and to kill them by starvation. Our politicians are credulous enough not to realize this fact because they are under the illusion of development or they are selfish to reap the benefits out of the development process. Government planning and annual budget system is nothing but legalized robbery of the people. Entire administration of the county is highly centralized putting 15 lakh crores of annual budget into handful of people out of which nothing goes to real needs of our villages. All the powers are highly centralized to such an extent that entire India has become a jail of 120 crore prisoners. Entire situation is most dangerous, most dreadful, most repressive and so must unjust to common people that it is almost undescribable. So all the patriotic elite people of India must think very seriously to quickly find the solution of this situation. Gandhiji has already suggested to make all villages as Sovereign Republics. We must go into this direction immediately. The major step is to awaken the people to demand their share per capita from annual budget of the government. Every evil is created from centralized government budget. So 80% budget provision must be decentralized to village scale on the population basis and it should be handed over to Sovereign Village Republics (SVRs). Every SVR consisting of Gram Sabha will have full sovereign powers of enacting laws just like Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Every SVR will have judiciary powers of Supreme Court and will be exercised by justice committee appointed by Gram Sabha. So if India has to live, they can not live in a present way. Immediately village people should demand sovereign powers in their villages and they should demand their legitimate share from the Central and state budget. If governments do not agree to their demands, they have the right of Satyagrah and Bahishkar votes in the elections. If people can show their force, government has to agree to decentralize their powers to Sovereign Village Republics. Once such Sovereign Village Republics come into existence, each village will get roughly Rs. 25000/- per person every year. So if population of village is 5000, their share from central and state budget will be Rs. 25000/- x 5000= Rs. 125 million. This much money will come every year. So every SVR will become just like paradise only within 10 years by the following process.

  1. Every SVR will pay first attention to make check dams everywhere to conserve water for irrigation and agricultural yield will increase almost double in 2 years time.
  2. Every SVR will process agricultural produce into finished goods to be used by the society. So wherever there is a oil seed production, edible oil will be extracted in the village itself. Wherever there is a cotton production, ginning, spinning, weaving industries will work in the village itself and cloth will be produced. Wherever there is paddy, unpolished rice will be produced in village itself. Wherever there is sugarcane, jaggery will be produced in the farm itself after drinking fresh sugarcane juice by entire village. So no agricultural produce will go to city. Only finished products will be sold.
  3. Wherever there is limestone, cement will be produced in village itself.
  4. Every SVR will ban the mining of coal. Energy will be produced from sun, wind, rice husk, wood, biogas etc only.
  5. Every SVR will have its planning committee for development of entire village and various sub committees will plan for education, housing, roads, transport, health, safety of life and property, protection of culture, home industries, Family enterprises, village industries, finance, cleanliness of village, women's empowerment, protection of Swaraj and many such committees in which entire village will be involved as per the individual interest.
  6. All the manufacturing activities of the country will be under SVRs in villages preferably at home scale and family scale level. Nothing will be produced in cities.
  7. Wherever production is not possible at village scale only such as car factory, group of SVRs will undertake such production at district level through District Panchayat composed of SVRs in the district.
  8. No big multinational companies will be allowed to work in India.
  9. Company law will be abolished and there will not be any share market in India. Wherever district level group of SVRs is not able to run big enterprise, government will invest money and elite group of people from SVRs will run the such state enterprises without any profit motive.
  10. No any nuclear power plant will be allowed to establish anywhere in India.
  11. Almost all SVRs will be exporting their products produced in the village or nearby villages. Products will include rice, cloth, jaggary, Ayurvedic medicines energy equipments such as solar concentrators, wind turbines, steam engines, Stirling engines, solar panels, machinery including SESMU trains and balloons, machine tools, vehicles, computers, building materials, tiles or any other thing required for comfortable living.
  12. There will be total prohibition for wine, bear, whiskey, cigarettes and other tobacco items.
  13. Every SVR will ban on tobacco cultivation.
  14. Every SVR will ban on import of petroleum in the village.
  15. Every SVR will ban on production or import of fertilizers and pesticides.
  16. Every SVR will ban on export of meat.
In this way our villages will be really Sovereign Republic and they will make such a tremendous development and they will create such a happiness that paradise will descend on the earth. So our Indian SVRs will become the inspiration to change entire political and economic scenario from highly centralized systems to fully decentralized systems everywhere in the world including Europe and America.

Anti Social Entrepreneuership

Before some years one foreigner visited me and he described me as social entrepreneur. I asked what is social entrepreneurship? He clarified that you are taking care of the society and to solve its problem through your business. So people like you are social entrepreneurs. So I said that everybody doing the business must care for society, must observe ethical values in the business and should ensure that business should not adversely affect the society. So my business should not result into increase of unemployment, poverty, disparity etc. I am earning from the society. So it is my duty that my business should not result into exploitation of the society. But he argued that no business class thinks like you think. Only a few people like you take care for positive impact of your business on the society. So such people like you are called social entrepreneurs. So I immediately reacted that what is not social is invariably anti social. It is evident that business people who are not social entrepreneurs must be evidently anti social entrepreneurs. And every anti social activity must be banned by the government if government is pro people. But I have painfully observed throughout the world that no any government is pro people. Every where government is supporting so called anti social entrepreneurs in exploiting the society in the name of development. So there are miseries in the society and miseries and evils are increasing in the society. What is then development? Is it something which creates happiness? I think people presume that development creates happiness. Then let us analyse what is happiness. Very nice wide highways connecting big cities is not the sign of happiness. Big cities with tall buildings is not the sign of happiness. Fast air conditioned trains and planes is not the sign of happiness. Big factories producing mass products is not the sign of happiness. Big universities, colleges, hospitals, administrative buildings etc is not the sign of happiness. Happiness lies in freedom. Freedom of earning the livelihood without any body's interference, without any tension, without any exploitation, without any helplessness is the real happiness. Freedom lies in working for self, not for others. Free independent farmer with his own land producing grains, vegetables, pulses, fruits etc must be the happiest person on the earth, if he is not exploited. But such a life is considered primitive and outdated. So development does not recognize such a simple, innocent but happy life. So development means tall buildings, wide highways, large cities, giant factories in which millions of people work just as economic slaves. There is no happiness at all in it. So development process destroys the freedom and makes the people economic slaves working for others against their own desire. So development destroys the happiness. It creates miseries of artificial life and its diseases. This is for those who get benefit of development. But vast majority of population become the victim of development and they are thrown into starvation to make development. 4 billion people have already been thrown into starvation. And development for what? After lot of study and observations of the situation throughout the world, I found that development means development of big exploitative companies, development of big exploitative technology, development of big automatic complicated machinery snatching away the work of thousands of people and throwing away them into starvation. And development for whom? It is evident and open that development is for the owners of the exploitative companies. Development is for capitalist people who own the capital. So really development is for a few wealthy people only. Development is not for common masses. Development is not for billions of people. Development is for special privileged class of people who are capitalists, industrialists, company owners, bank owners, politicians, government bureaucrats etc.

So present development develops this special class by concentrating wealth and resources in a few hands. More is the concentration of the wealth and resources, the smaller is this special class of wealthy people. If they are only 100, then entire development of world is only for 100 people. If they are one million, then entire development is for one million people. If they are 1% population, then entire development for 1%. But certainly not for rest of the people. Millions and millions of people work for the so called development and they get a little benefit from them by way of big salaries and perks. Only a handful of them are decision makers who become the part of wealthy class. The others are simply slaves of the process of development and they have not to use their brain and go on working as per the prescribed system for them. They are really helpless people working for their livelihood and luxuries they get. Just for the sake of big salaries and special privileges, they run this unjust system and exploit the entire world in favour of their bosses. So they all are engaged in anti social activity. So wherever there is a exploitation resulting into unemployment, poverty, starvation, it is surely anti social entrepreneurship. Wherever there is a compulsion to work against his own desire, it is anti social entrepreneurship. Wherever there is huge salary abnormal to living standard of common masses, it is anti social entrepreneurship. Wherever huge disparity is created, it is anti social entrepreneurship. Wherever there is large scale marketing without thinking of morality, it is anti social entrepreneurship. All kinds of advertisement is the result of anti social entrepreneurship. Anti social entrepreneurship creates miseries. Development has nothing to do with happiness of people. It is mostly connected with miseries and economic slavery of people. So we must abolish anti social entrepreneurship. This is possible only by boycotting goods and services produced by anti social entrepreneurs. This is the only way to save the world from draconian form of development.

But really can we boycott the products of anti social entrepreneurs? Yes. We can do it if we have firm determination. Thousands of people in Europe and America like to live off grid. They boycott grid power. One who can boycott grid power certainly can boycott other goods. In India it is very easy to boycott products of anti social entrepreneurs. Because many things are produced by farmers and by small industries which can be regarded as innocent industries or which can be regarded as social entrepreneurs. Grains can be purchased directly from farmers. Milk can be purchased directly from those who supply directly from farmers. Cloths can be made in homes and villages if systematic efforts are made. Soaps can be made in homes and villages. Cooking gas can be generated in homes from kitchen waste. Solar energy, wind energy and biomass energy can be employed in homes and farms for lights and for running light industries. Edible oil can be produced in villages. Rice hulling can be done in villages. Jaggery can be made in farms itself. All such village scale industries are social enterprises. Footwear can be made in villages. In fact Indian villages where self reliant villages before 60 years and they are self reliant villages partially even at present. They can be made fully self reliant by people's initiative if we understand futility of so called development. So every person concerned for the society should understand the present development in its true form and start acting immediately how we can boycott the goods of anti social entrepreneurs and how we can evolve alternative products to make our life self reliant. Then and then real freedom and real happiness will come.
